Mid-Nebraska Disposal has been in the area since the early 1970s when Arlo Woodward and his sons, Les and Marv, bought the businesses in 1976. Les and his wife, Teresa, ran the waste collection business themselves until the early 1990s, when their two sons, Scott and Chris began running the day-to-day operations.
